Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc.-Allied is seeking a travel Surgical Technician for a travel job in New Bedford, Massachusetts.
Here are the details:
Location: New Bedford, MA
Contract Length: 13 weeks (likelihood of extension)
Start Date: ASAP
⏱️ Hours: 40 hours/week
Schedule:
• 5x8-hour day shifts
• 40 hours per week
• Weeknight and weekend call rotation required
• Approximately 4–5 call shifts every 6 weeks
Pay:
• Local Rate: $46/hr
• Weekly Pay: $1,840/week
• Travel Package: $2,129/week
Meals: $560/week
Housing: $889/week
Role Overview:
• Assist surgeons during a wide variety of procedures in a high-volume operating room environment
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields, instruments, and surgical equipment
• Support OR teams throughout procedures and room turnover
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to surgical protocols
• Document and communicate effectively using EPIC
✅ Requirements:
• NBSTSA or NCCT certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Surgical Tech experience
• Experience with a broad range of specialties including:
General Surgery
