Job Summary:
The ORT (Operating Room Technician) Surgical Technician position is located in an organization that provides comprehensive surgical services. This role involves working primarily during night shifts, supporting surgical procedures with scrub experience, particularly in obstetrics with cesarean sections. The position also includes various operational duties such as patient registration, stocking the OB unit, triaging patients, and assisting with birth certificates.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification as a Surgical Technician or Operating Room Technician, experience in surgical scrub duties preferably in obstetrics with cesarean sections, high school diploma or GED, and valid certification as a Surgical Technician. No minimum years of experience specified.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in obstetrics OR with cesarean sections, additional patient care or administrative duties experience.
• Additional Information: The role involves assisting with patient registration, stocking supplies in the OB unit, rooming and triaging patients, and supporting birth certificate processes.
