Job Summary:
The Denver location is seeking a Surgical Technician / Operating Room Technician for a composed and dynamic acute care environment. This role involves supporting a busy operating room unit with a focus on trauma, robotics, neuro/spine, plastics, ENT, and urology cases. The technician will be responsible for assisting during surgical procedures, ensuring sterile practices, and providing quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with shifts scheduled as either Monday-Wednesday or Tuesday-Thursday. Minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, at least 2 years of relevant experience. Must hold a license to submit. Located within 60 miles of Denver.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with robotics, trauma, neuro/spine, plastics, ENT, and urology cases. Experience in charge nurse or house supervisor roles is advantageous.
• Additional Information: Unit notes include a brief orientation period of 2 days, with hospital policy allowing cancellation of up to four shifts within a 13-week assignment. Scrub color required is blue surgical scrubs, provided by the facility. No floating within the zone unless required by exceptional circumstances. The role involves working in an acute care setting with trauma level 1 designation and electronic charting through EPIC.
