Job Details:
Schedule: Weekends onlyFriday, Saturday, Sunday, 7:00 AM 7:30 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: 3+ years of sterile processing department (SPD) experience with at least 2+ years of documented manager or supervisor experience; completion of one travel contract; ability to supervise daily SPD operations including weekend coverage, emergency instrumentation, staffing support, and workflow continuity; experienced in training, coaching, mentoring, and evaluating staff; proficiency in maintaining compliance with standards from organizations such as the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) and The Joint Commission infection prevention guidelines; able to discuss relevant standards during interview; valid sterile processing technician license or certification, either CRCST or CBSPDT via HSPAP; located in Illinois or willing to relocate accordingly.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree; 5+ years of SPD experience; 1+ year of supervisory experience.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
