Job Summary:
The operating room open heart specialist position is located in Wichita, Kansas. This role involves providing advanced cardiac surgery support within a busy surgical unit, including procedures such as CABG, AVR, MVR, and TAVR. The ideal candidate will have a confident, team-oriented attitude and prioritize patient care during complex cardiovascular procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling approximately 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Minimum 1-year current acute care cardiovascular operating room technician experience, BLS certification, active Kansas licensure.
• Preferred Qualifications: Open Heart and Cardiovascular experience, prior Meditech electronic medical record experience.
• Additional Information: On-call is required one weeknight per week and one weekend per month. The unit is resuming its ECMO program, offering exciting growth opportunities.
