Travel Surgical Technologist – Contract

Location: Hyannis, MA
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift | 5 Days/Week | 8 Hours/Day
Pay: $1,700 – $1,800/Week (Based on Experience)

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to assist with surgical procedures by preparing the operating room, maintaining sterile technique, handling instruments, and supporting surgeons and nursing staff to ensure safe patient care.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare operating rooms, instruments, and surgical supplies.
• Maintain sterile field and follow infection control standards.
• Perform scrub tech duties for various surgical specialties.
• Pass instruments, assist with surgical counts, specimens, and dressings.
• Support patient positioning, transport, room turnover, and equipment management.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician program.
• NBSTSA Certification required.
• BLS Certification required.
• Strong surgical and sterile technique knowledge.
• Ortho experience preferred.
• 2 manager/supervisor references required.
