Requirements:

• Required Certifications: BLS
• Required Skills: Fundus Photography, External Photography, Autorefractor, Lensometer, Oct and Fundus Photography, Humphrey visual field analyzer, Obtain and record medical history, Record History/Medications/Allergies, Obtain Vital Signs, Basic Eye Exam, Checking Extra-Ocular Muscles, Checking Vision Near and Distance, Clinical optics, Confrontational fields, Inform physician of preliminary findings, Locate and record external elements of the eye, Locate and record internal elements of the eye, Measure and record visual acuity and color vision testing, Obtain visual acuity uncorrected and corrected, Perform auto-refraction, Perform intraocular pressure measurements, Place dilating drops in eyes as ordered, Visual Fields, Chart Preparation, Clean and sterilize and maintain surgical instruments/ equipment, Filing, Identify equipment malfunction, Patient teaching regarding ocular medications, Pharmacy calls for refills, Scheduling appointments, Stocking/Ordering Supplies, Aseptic Technique, Biohazard waste disposal, Explain discharge instructions, Follow up phone calls, Universal precautions, Young Adult, Older Adult, Patient education, Amblyopia, Eye discharge, Double vision, Floaters, Light sensitivity, Pain or irritation, Vision changes

Job Details:

• Pay: $1002/week - $1232/week
• Assignment Length: 13-week assignment
• Shift: 5, 8-Hour 08:30 - 17:00
• At least one year of experience required
