Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician for a contract role in Union City, CA. The successful candidate will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, contributing to a dynamic and fast-paced pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician
  • Fill prescriptions and prepare IVs under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
  • Work with Billing Supervisor to enter data in the computer system for prescriptions and reimbursement payment
  • Prepackage medication for dispensing according to standards and government regulations
  • Assist Pharmacist in final checking and packaging of filled prescriptions
  • Coordinate accurate and timely delivery of medications to customers
  • Maintain good inventory practices, including receiving, rotating medications, posting lot numbers, and expiration dates
  • Support Pharmacy Management in maintaining a clean and safe work environment
