Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Certified Pharmacy Technician for a contract-to-hire position in Grand Prairie, TX. This role requires working under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist in a fast-paced high-volume environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for various pharmacy technician duties, including prescription filling and IV preparation.

Key Responsibilities of the Certified Pharmacy Technician

Fill prescriptions for pharmacist verification
Prepare IVs under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
Enter data into computer systems for prescription filling and reimbursement payments
Prepackage medication for dispensing according to standards and regulations
Assist Pharmacist in final checks and coordinate delivery to customers
Maintain inventory practices, including receiving and rotating medications
Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Requirements of the Certified Pharmacy Technician

Certified pharmacy technician license
IV certification preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Ability to multitask and support pharmacists
Dependable and punctual
Experience with complex automated dispensing systems
