Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician
  • Assist in filling prescriptions and preparing IVs under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
  • Enter data along with the Billing Supervisor into the computer system for prescription filling and reimbursement.
  • Prepackage medications and assist in final checking and delivery coordination.
  • Maintain good inventory practices, including receiving, rotating medications, and posting lot numbers.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe work environment alongside the Technician Supervisor.

Requirements of the Pharmacy Technician
  • Relevant experience in a pharmacy setting.
  • Licensing or certification as required by state law.
