Key Responsibilities of the EMT / ER Technician

Respond to EMS calls and perform functions related to patient care according to PA DOH EMS Act and scope of practice
Manage behavioral emergencies and apply restraints when necessary
Assist with procedures, patient ambulation, and feeding
Perform phlebotomy and conduct post-mortem care
Label specimens, transport, and report changes in patient conditions

Requirements of the EMT / ER Technician

PA state license
NREMT and BLS certifications
1 year of experience
EPIC experience required
