This role involves responding to EMS calls and performing various patient-related functions in line with the appropriate regulations and protocols. Candidates will primarily operate in York County and Shrewsbury County, providing essential emergency medical services.

Key Responsibilities of the EMT / ER Technician

Respond to EMS calls and provide emergency medical assistance
Perform patient care following PA DOH EMS Act and scope of practice
Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure patient safety and treatment efficacy
Manage behavioral emergencies and assist with procedures
Perform phlebotomy, EKG/ECG, and apply isolation precautions as required

Requirements of the EMT / ER Technician

PA state license
NREMT and BLS certification
Minimum 1 year of experience in an EMS environment
EPIC charting system experience required
