Travel Technician / Technologist - $1,401 per week in Charlottesville, VA

Job Title: Endoscopy Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: GI/Endo Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years experience required in a similar role. License: Pending licenses accepted (must be in hand by designated time). Certifications: BLS, SGNA, CER. Must-Have: - EPIC and Provation experience required. - Ability to assist with biopsies, balloon dilators, colonoscopes, colonoscopy, dilations, EGD, electrosurgical units, esophageal foreign body removal, and infection control. - Experience with instrument processing and cleaning in inpatient and outpatient settings. Description: The role involves clinical review and execution of endoscopic procedures. Candidates will work four ten-hour shifts from Monday to Friday. Hours may vary occasionally. There will be no call or weekend shifts required for this position. Staff will be responsible for restocking supplies and ensuring all protocols are followed. Candidates must be prepared to float within their scope of practice as necessary. Experience in working with specific endoscopy equipment and procedures is essential.
