Job Title: Senior Endoscopy Technician

License: Certified Surgical Tech (CST) or SGNA education completion required.

Must-Have: Strong scope reprocessing skills required.
Description:
This role is for a caregiver looking to be hired on permanently after a 13-week contract.
We are seeking a Senior Endoscopy Technician for a quick start at an outpatient Endoscopy Center.
Candidates should have 3+ years of experience working collaboratively with physicians and nursing staff.
The schedule is Monday to Friday, from 07:00 to 15:30, with no weekends or holidays, and no on-call requirements.
Experience in endoscopy centers or GI labs is mandatory.
First-time applicants are not accepted for this role.
Preferred equipment includes Olympus processor CV-190 and Olympus Light Source CLV-190.
Daily procedures include upper endoscopies, colonoscopies, polypectomy, biopsy, peg placement, banding, and balloon dilation.
Technicians should be accustomed to high-level disinfection of procedural equipment.
Epic Experience and ProVation Experience are preferred.
Experience with colonoscopes, EGD scopes, EBUS, EUS, Enteroscopes, ERCP scopes, fiber optics, and flex sigmoidoscopes is required.
Back table set up and room setup experience is preferred.
The daily patient population includes ASA 1, 2, & 3.
The center performs approximately 34-36 procedures daily with three gastroenterologists.
Candidates are expected to have experience with infection control and universal protocol procedures.
Experience with high-level disinfectant (HLD) processes and proper labeling of specimens is required.
This position involves working in a standalone endoscopy center with a focus on outpatient procedures.
Aseptic technique and assembly/wrapping experience is required.
Candidates will be responsible for restocking room supplies and closing the room at the end of the day.
Ability to receive and apply feedback effectively is essential.
Candidates should be adaptable and willing to learn as needed.
