Key Responsibilities of the Ophthalmic Technician- Performs routine vision screening
- Administers eye medications
- Cleans ophthalmic instruments and equipment
- Prepares and maintains treatment rooms
Requirements of the Ophthalmic Technician- Minimum 1 year experience
- Preferred COA certified ophthalmic assistant
- 2 years or more experience preferred
- Scribing experience is a plus
