Seven Healthcare is pleased to offer a travel opportunity for a CVOR Scrub Technician in Charleston, SC. This assignment consists of 8-hour day shifts, 5 shifts per week, totaling 40 hours, with a weekly pay of $2,600. Will be working 06:30am -15:00pm with 2 weekday calls and every 3 th-4th weekend call MUST HAVE CVOR EXPERIENCE. Must be NBSTSA certified.

Key Responsibilities of the CVOR Scrub Technician:
  • Prepare and maintain sterile fields for cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures
  • Anticipate the needs of surgeons and pass instruments, supplies, and equipment efficiently during operations
  • Assist with open-heart surgeries, vascular procedures, and other complex cardiovascular interventions
  • Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized, assembled, and functioning correctly
  • Perform surgical counts according to facility protocols to ensure patient safety
  • Handle specimens appropriately and maintain accurate documentation throughout procedures
  • Collaborate with surgeons, registered nurses, perfusionists, anesthesiologists, and surgical team members
  • Adhere to infection prevention standards and sterile technique at all times
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR Scrub Technician experience
  • Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential preferred or required per facility guidelines
  • BLS certification required
  • Experience assisting with cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures
  • Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation, sterile processing, and aseptic technique
  • Ability to remain focused and perform effectively during lengthy and complex surgical cases
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work 8-hour day shifts and participate in call requirements if needed
