This role is focused on radiology within a high-pressure, trauma-level work environment. Key Responsibilities of the Radiologic Technologist - Radiology Technician
Perform radiology procedures, including select C.T. procedures
Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and hospital employees
Calibrate and operate radiologic equipment
Properly position patients and apply restraining devices
Initiate CPR if necessary
Utilize hospital and radiology computer systems
Requirements of the Radiologic Technologist - Radiology Technician
Graduate of an A.M.A approved school of Radiologic Technology
Registered or registry eligibility with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
Licensed as a Radiographer by the State of Ohio
Completion of training to perform other radiology procedures
CPR Certification
2+ years of experience in radiology
Level I trauma experience
