Job Title: Interventional Radiology Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required License: Must have a valid license prior to start date Certifications: BLS and ARRT required Must-Have: First time travelers accepted. On-call hours required one day a week from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM. Travelers are expected to make up shifts if they call in for a contracted shift. Travelers must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Floating is required of all travelers within or to nearby affiliate hospitals. Description: This position is responsible for providing interventional radiology services. The tech will be involved in various procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, and embolization. Candidates should possess skills in using PACS, C-Arm, and contrast agents. A minimum of 1 year of experience in interventional radiology is required. Previous charge experience is preferred. The daily census includes adult and geriatric patients. The facility conducts specialized procedures in a dedicated environmental center. Candidates should be proficient in accessing and managing ports, central venous access, and various drainage procedures. Experience with relevant charting systems is preferred.
