Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician- Filling prescriptions and preparing IVs under supervision
- Prepackaging medication for dispensing according to standards
- Assisting Pharmacist with final checking of filled prescriptions
- Maintaining good inventory practices
- Receiving and rotating incoming medications and supplies
- Checking equipment for calibration, safety, and cleanliness
Requirements of the Pharmacy Technician- Hawaii Pharmacy Technician registration required
