Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN - Telemetry Float for an acute care teaching hospital, requiring 2 years of experience and Epic charting proficiency.

Details

• Work in the Tele Float unit, with the ability to also work Med/Surg
• Acute care teaching hospital setting with Level 3 trauma designation
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Uses Epic (Excellian) charting system
• 3x12 hour shifts available in Day (7:00-19:30) or Night (19:00-7:30) rotations
• Required to work every other weekend
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals to meet facility needs

Requirements

• Active MN RN license required (pending license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in specialty required
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Epic/Excellian charting experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• 1 supervisor reference required

Additional Information

• Provide telemetry and med/surg nursing care within scope of practice
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be considered, with no local candidate exceptions for this position
• Returning travelers must have been gone at least 3 months since their last shift worked as perm staff or per diem
• RTO should ideally be no more than 5 days
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Pre-start onboarding modules are required
