Experienced Registered Nurse needed for a Med/Surg Telemetry travel assignment in Winchester, Virginia 22601. Join a supportive acute care float pool team and deliver high-quality patient care in one of the most scenic and historic areas of the Shenandoah Valley.

This travel RN job is a 13-week contract with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts and an every-other-weekend requirement. Job Requirements

• Active RN license in Virginia or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry or Med Surg experience
• Cardiac nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Experience with EPIC EMR required
• Ability to float to other units as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to adult acute care patients on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions according to best practices
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support recovery and discharge planning
• Document patient care accurately in EPIC
• Adapt to float pool needs and support other units when assigned
• Promote a positive patient experience while maintaining high standards of clinical quality
