**Join Our Thriving Nursing Team!** **Job Description:** - Are you ready to take your nursing career to the next level in a dynamic and challenging environment? - As a competent nurse, you will practice independently and demonstrate awareness of all relevant aspects of patient care. - Provide both routine and complex care, while keeping an eye on long-range goals and plans. - Develop your ability to cope with and manage contingencies in clinical nursing. - Make appropriate assignments and delegate tasks to other care providers, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. **Responsibilities:** - Meet expectations of the OneCHRISTUS Competencies, including Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders. - Consistently utilize the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice to deliver nursing care: - Conduct assessments - Diagnose conditions - Plan interventions - Implement care strategies - Evaluate patient outcomes - Address the increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families. - Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness. - Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately. - Assess learning needs and educate patients, family members, and caregivers, identifying key issues and resources. **Job Requirements:** **Education/Skills:** - Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred. **Experience:** - 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred. **Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:** - Current BLS certification required (AHA only). - Current ACLS certification required (AHA only). - RN License in the state of TX or compact. **Position Requirements:** **Education/Skills:** - Newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire. - New hires will be precepted by a designated trained staff member, with initial onboarding requirements validated through successful completion of designated organizational entry competency validation and MedSurg-specific competency validation. - Newly licensed RNs may participate in a residency program or specific orientation, with skills completion documented through the program’s tracking software. - Completion of all annual competency verification requirements. **Experience:** - One year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred. **Work Schedule:** - 7AM - 7PM **Work Type:** - Full Time **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
