Location: Overland Park, Kansas Hospital: 5721 W. 119th St, Overland Park, KS Unit: Med Tele – Building A Beds: 25 Contract: 13 weeks / 91 days
Shift
7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
12-hour days
3 shifts/week
36 hours guaranteed
48 hours guaranteed preferred
Every 3rd weekend at minimum
Patient Assignment
4–5 patients per nurse
Primarily:
Renal
Urology
Oncology
Pulmonology
Cardiology
General Med-Surg
Requirements
Must have:
BLS
ACLS
Basic Dysrhythmia
Good attitude
Team-oriented mindset
Experience/skills:
Med-Tele experience
Basic Med-Surg procedures
Strong documentation
Central line, Foley, C. diff and HAI-related processes
Floating
Candidate may float to similar units, including:
Ortho
Neuro
CCU
CDU
SSU
Observation
Rehab
Equipment / EMR
EMR: Meditech – EBCDS
EKG
Bladder scanner
Sit-to-stand
Hoyer lift
Hover mat
Alaris pumps
Pyxis
