Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry | Travel | West Allis, WI
Assignment Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Telemetry unit in West Allis, WI. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, providing care to a variety of Med/Surg patient types. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of Med/Surg experience and be comfortable with floating to different units as needed.
Assignment Details
Start Date: Not provided
Facility Type: Level IV Trauma Center, Level III NICU, Primary Stroke Center
Shift Details: 3x12 hour night shifts (19:00 - 07:00), every other weekend rotation, every other major holiday
Provide care for Med/Surg patient types with varied diagnoses
Manage patient ratios of up to 6 patients per nurse, depending on staffing
Utilize general Med/Surg skillset, including traches, chest tubes, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and medication gtt management
Collaborate with CNAs, techs, and other RNs in the department
Participate in telemetry monitoring and rapid response as needed
Qualifications
Required:
Minimum 2 years of RN Med/Surg experience
Current BLS and NIHSS certifications
Proficiency with general Med/Surg skills and EPIC EMR
Preferred:
ACLS certification
