Quick Overview
Seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a high-volume Level I Trauma Center. This is an Auto-Offer position for qualified candidates. The department is a busy urban trauma center, regional burn center, STEMI, and stroke center with over 200 patients per day.
Required Experience
Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience in a Level I Trauma Center OR
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience in a Level II Trauma Center
Experience must be clearly listed on the resume
Experience with high-acuity emergency patients
Trauma experience required
Requirements
Current RN License (Missouri or eligible for Missouri licensure)
AHA BLS
AHA ACLS
AHA PALS
TNCC
NIHSS(may be submitted without it but must obtain prior to start)
Preferred Qualifications
Pediatric emergency experience
High-volume trauma center experience (200+ patients/day)
Stroke, STEMI, Burn, and Trauma experience
EPIC experience

Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate emergency patient care
Care for trauma, stroke, STEMI, burn, pediatric, and medical emergency patients
Coordinate care with ancillary departments
Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC
Provide safe, evidence-based patient care
Follow Mercy policies, nursing standards, and patient safety protocols
