Description

American Traveler is hiring a Tele/Ambulatory Care RN for a night shift role requiring a CA RN license and prior telemetry/ACU/PACU experience.

Details

• Ambulatory Care unit within an acute patient setting
• Provides tele/ambulatory care to acute patients
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00-07:30
• Rotating weekend requirement with no on-call responsibilities
• Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of solid telemetry experience required
• ACU/PACU experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred

Additional Information

• Delivers holistic, individualized nursing care including assessment, coordination, and evaluation of patient care
• Develops and implements care plans incorporating psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors
• Fosters collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare team members through effective communication
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius for local candidate consideration
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with only 1 holiday request approved per contract
• Holiday coverage required for New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
• Returning staff must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
• Only permitted to submit to one Sutter Health facility at a time
