Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Float/Resource Pool - Telemetry position requiring advanced dysrhythmia competency and an active NH or Compact RN license.

Details

• Float/Resource Pool position within an acute care hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Advanced telemetry monitoring with experience managing Cardizem drips, insulin drips (hyperglycemia), and Phenobarbital on telemetry
• Floating may be required to a nearby Laconia, NH facility location
• No on-call requirements
• Cerner EMR experience is preferred but not required

Requirements

• Active NH or Compact RN license required — temp licenses are not accepted
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2+ years of acute care experience in a telemetry or related specialty
• Advanced telemetry/dysrhythmia experience required — must pass the Relias Advanced Dysrhythmia Exam during onboarding
• NURSYS license verification report required for all active RN licenses
• 3 professional references required upon commitment (2 must be from leadership — manager or charge RN; no peers or coworkers)

Additional Information

• First-time travelers with strong relevant experience will be considered
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but will be placed at the local pay rate
• Weekly orientation provided
• Former permanent staff are eligible to return as travelers after a minimum 12-month break in service
• RTO (requested time off) must be disclosed upfront
