Job Description
The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced cardiac telemetry/PCU setting. Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patient health status and vital signs.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.
- Educate patients and families on health management and recovery.
- Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic health record.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Must be a licensed RN in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Current BLS certification required.
- A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a telemetry or cardiac unit is preferred.
- Must have completed all required Pennsylvania clearances and background checks.
