This role involves caring for inpatient transitional unit patients, utilizing telemetry monitoring equipment, and providing critical care in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Hours Per Week: 36
Required Qualifications: BLS certification; ACLS certification; experience with ED, Cardiac Telemetry, and Med-Surg patients; ability to work independently and multitask; excellent communication skills; critical thinker.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with ED, Cardiac Telemetry, and Med-Surg patients.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: This is a 12-week assignment starting 10/26/2026 and ending 01/25/2027. No invasive procedures are performed on the unit. The unit has 10 beds with a staff of 3, including 2 RNs and 1 PCT during night shifts. Patient ratios are 5:1. The unit uses Telemetry Monitors and EKG machines, with MediTech EMR. Candidates must work the two weekend shifts per month; no on-call is required. The unit maintains a professional dress code of navy blue scrubs.
