Job Summary Telemetry Nurse Nights The organization is seeking a qualified telemetry nurse to provide direct nursing care on a 28-bed cardiac telemetry unit. This role involves implementing and monitoring patient care plans, assessing patient conditions, and coordinating discharge planning needs. The position requires working night shifts, with up to six weekend shifts in a six-week schedule, and is supported by patient care technicians and a healthcare unit coordinator.
Job Details
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license (Nursys License), professional profile and resume verification, at least 1 year of relevant nursing experience, and necessary certifications including the ascension skills checklist and references
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in cardiac telemetry, BLS (Basic Life Support), and additional certifications such as ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) are a plus
Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: The qualified candidate will work within the scope of nursing practice, demonstrating critical thinking and decisive judgment in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include serving as the primary coordinator of patient care, noting and executing physician and nursing orders, and assisting with discharge planning.
