Job Summary Telemetry (TELE) Nurse in Indiana This position involves providing specialized care for patients in a high-acuity medical surgical and trauma unit. The role focuses on neuro spine post-operative care, Level 2 Trauma, and Level 1 Trauma post-ICU patients, supporting recovery and maintaining patient stability.
Job Details
Position Description: Neuro Spine Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Trauma) nurse with expertise in neuro assessments, critical thinking skills, drain management, and post-surgical care, including chest tube and groin site management after interventional radiology procedures.
Qualifications: RN licensure, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications; 2 years of experience in related clinical areas; location within 50 miles of the facility; ability to work night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: The role involves caring for higher acuity patients, including stroke, DKA, renal failure, and post-operative neuro/spinal surgeries, with a patient ratio of 1:5 or 1:6. Floating to other medical-surgical or telemetry units may be required.
Submission Requirements: Travelers must attach all necessary licenses and certifications, including a drivers license and proof of home address.
