Job Summary Telemetry Registered Nurse in the Telemetry specialty is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care within a hospital setting. The role involves planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs, as well as developing individualized care plans through assessment, intervention, and evaluation.
Job Details
Location: The healthcare facility.
Schedule: Days shift, from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, ASN degree, NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, NIH Stroke Scale certification, Telemetry certification or competency exam.
Preferred Qualifications: BSN degree.
Certifications & Licensure: Telemetry, NIH, ACLS.
Certifications & Licenses: Telemetry, NIH, ACLS.
Responsibilities include providing patient-centric care, managing care of patients, performing therapeutic interventions, and documenting care following standards of care, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
The candidate may be required to float to other inpatient telemetry units when necessary.
Minimum experience required: 2 years of recent telemetry experience; preferred 5 years.
