The role focuses on reading and interpreting EKGs and telemetry strips, with responsibilities that include post-cardiac procedural care and administration of IV medications.

Location: Kansas City, MO
Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Position Description: 48 hours guaranteed with an option; start date 11/30/2026. The role requires full-time hours including three weekend shifts per scheduling period.
Required Qualifications: Valid ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications; current experience or familiarity with Cardiac Telemetry or PCU/ICU; ability to read and interpret EKGs and telemetry strips; experience with post-cardiac procedural care, including Ablations, cardiac catheterizations, Post Op Day 1 Open Heart, and permanent Pacemaker placements; proficiency in administering and titrating IV medications such as insulin, Cardizem, Cardene, and Amiodarone.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with IV insertions, NGT placement and maintenance, Chest Tube maintenance, Temporary Pacemakers, Foley insertions.
Additional Information: Must work full-time hours, including weekend shifts. The environment is fast-paced with a family-like atmosphere, emphasizing high-quality patient care and teamwork.
