Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) settings within a small, rural acute care facility
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for a patient population ranging from newborn to geriatric?
• Manage patient assignments at a ratio of up to 5:1 for standard acuity, and 3:1 to 4:1 for higher-acuity PCU patients
• Operate independently with minimal orientation in a fast-paced, small-unit environment
• Adhere to facility dress code and all unit-specific protocols throughout the duration of the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in PCU, Medical-Surgical, and/or Telemetry nursing
• Demonstrated Telemetry experience with cardiac monitoring in a Medical-Surgical setting
• Completed Basic Dysrhythmia competency test (must be on file)
• Active New Hampshire RN license or valid Compact RN license
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS certification
• Must possess own reliable personal vehicle for use during the assignment
• Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Experience working in a rural or small-facility healthcare environment
• Comfort and proficiency across all three specialties: MS, Tele, and PCU
