Job Requirements

• 3+ years of recent Progressive Care Unit, Medical Surgical, and Telemetry RN experience
• Strong telemetry experience required
• Active New Hampshire RN license or compact RN license
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Basic dysrhythmia test completed and documented in profile
• Skills checklists for Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit, current within 1 year
• One supervisory reference from within the past two years
• Previous travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Rural or small-facility nursing experience highly preferred
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Must have personal transportation for the assignment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care across Med Surg, Telemetry, and PCU patient populations
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
• Deliver care for patients with varying acuity levels, including higher-acuity PCU assignments as needed
• Perform thorough assessments, document patient conditions, and communicate updates clearly to the care team
• Support a patient ratio that may range from 5:1 depending on acuity, with higher-acuity PCU assignments at 3:1 or 4:1
• Work independently while contributing to a small-team environment
• Maintain flexibility to float between Med Surg, Telemetry, and PCU assignments based on unit needs
• Deliver compassionate care to a broad patient population from newborn to geriatric
