Additional Responsibilities: Able to interpret all cardiac rhythms, work with ventilators (Cpap or Bipap), and respond to emergency situations; float to other units as needed; unit uses Cerner Electronic Medical Record (EMR); orientation involves 1-2 shifts with a preceptor; the unit handles complex cases including post pacer patients, dialysis, oncology, stroke, TBI, and other high-acuity patients.
Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
Submission Requirements: License to Submit.
Shift Notes: First to float, work EOW, with possible floating between the medical-surgical and ICU units under the same license.
