Join our team as a Registered Nurse in Telemetry at a leading acute-care hospital in Boston, MA. This is a contract position with guaranteed hours and the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. We are seeking dedicated professionals to support our winter staffing needs.

As a Telemetry RN, you will be responsible for monitoring patients' vital signs, administering medications, and providing critical care in a float pool position across 15 medical surgical units. The facility specializes in neurology, cardiac, bariatric, general medicine, general surgery, gynecology, genitourinary, hips and joints, oncology, and transplant care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor telemetry and vital signs of patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform unit-specific procedures such as 12 lead EKGs, nebulizer administration, and blood transfusions.
• Support a patient ratio of 4:1 on days and 6:1 on nights.
• Work in a flexible schedule that includes rotating shifts and every other weekend.

Qualifications:

• Current MA Registered Nurse License required at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 3 years related work experience required.
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
• CPR-AHA and ACLS-AHA certifications required.
• Basic familiarity with computers and web-based applications; Epic experience is required.
• Experience in a teaching hospital and specialty area expertise preferred.
• Level I trauma experience required.

Orientation is held weekly, every Monday (excluding holidays). Please provide your availability for an interview at the time of submission. All requests for time off (RTO) must be presented at the time of submission. Note that parking can cost up to $43/day if working during the day shift, but public transportation is available.
