Job Summary: A Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in a local healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized care for adult patients with cardiac monitoring needs. The position requires a minimum of two years of related experience and offers a flexible night shift schedule, accommodating the needs of the healthcare team and patients.

Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid California RN license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certifications, at least 2 years of cardiac/telemetry experience, experience with EPIC electronic health record system, and valid certifications with current expiration dates uploaded and verified within the last two weeks.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Chest tubes (Emerson/PleurEvac), Heparin protocols, Dysrhythmia interpretation, Isolation precautions/PPE, IV insulin protocols, and other advanced cardiac care skills.
Patient Care: Adults with diverse diagnoses, daily census around 40 patients.
Additional Information: Orientation includes 24 hours of training. Candidates must complete labs within 3-5 days of contract signing and submit all compliance documents 10 days prior to the start date.
Submittal Requirements: Valid California RN license uploaded via Nursys within two weeks, applicable certifications uploaded with expirations, and two references obtained within the last year.
Other Details: No separation time required for return staff or travelers. Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with holiday RTO restrictions applicable.
