Job Summary:
Telemetry (TELE) nurse position available in a local healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized care to adult patients with cardiac and telemetry needs. The position requires at least two years of experience in cardiac telemetry or step-down units, with a focus on monitoring and managing cardiac drips and arrhythmias, and is scheduled for day shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, starting on 09/29/2026 and ending on 12/29/2026, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid California registered nurse licensure uploaded within the last two weeks, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), and NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certifications. At least 2 years of experience specifically in cardiac telemetry or step-down units.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with managing cardiac drips such as Amiodarone, Heparin, Cardiezm, Dopamine, and familiarity with post-cardiac catheterization care and cardiac surgeries.
• Certifications: Valid ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Skills: Blood product administration, cardiac telemetry monitoring, central line care/management, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, oxygen therapy including nasal cannula, pacemaker management, IV placement, telemetry monitoring, titration of cardiac drips, wound care, and management of patients with post-cardiac procedures.
• Additional Information: This position involves working on adult patient care units requiring interdisciplinary support. No call or weekend shifts are specified, and orientation hours are determined by the facility. Submission of two references within the last year and compliance documentation are required, with all documents due 10 days prior to the start date.
