Certification and Education Requirements: BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association); willingness to submit license; minimum two years of experience required.
Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week, every other weekend and holiday.
Responsibilities include managingTelemetry patients, interpreting cardiac rhythms, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.
Additional responsibilities involve participating in unit-specific training, orientation, and competency validation, including telemetry and mechanical ventilation skills.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
The position involves working in a 30-bed medical cardiopulmonary unit and an 8-bed intermediate/progressive care unit, with specific emphasis on cardiac monitoring, invasive and non-invasive ventilation, and complex telemetry procedures.
Compliance with unit dress code (blue scrubs, closed-toed shoes) is required, along with participation in orientation programs to ensure readiness for patient care responsibilities.
