Job Summary Telemetry (TELE) Nurse in a healthcare facility. This position involves providing specialized nursing care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and other critical interventions. The role entails working 12-hour night shifts, with a minimum of 48 hours per week, on an assignment beginning October 26, 2026, and ending December 7, 2026.
Job Details
Certifications: BLS Basic Life Support, ACLS Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support; Location Requirements: must hold a valid license to submit; Years of Experience: 0 years minimum required.
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 48 hours per week.
Duties include telemetry/rhythm interpretation, titration of drips such as Cardizem and Amiodarone, and responding to various patient needs, including respiratory and cardiovascular issues.
The unit has nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5 during the day and 1:6 at night.
Nurses on this unit are expected to read their own rhythm strips and troubleshoot telemonitor equipment, including GE monitors.
Floating to all three campuses is required, and self-requested block scheduling for consecutive night shifts is accommodated.
Orientation includes three sessions, one on each campus.
Charting is conducted in EPIC electronic medical record system.
Hospital can cancel up to four shifts within the 13-week assignment for scheduling flexibility.
