Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Telemetry – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: September 22, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). Patient ratio 1:6. Float to units of equal acuity as needed. Weekend coverage required (approximately half of weekends per contract).

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment in a 36-bed medical/surgical telemetry unit
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, physical therapy, and more
• Epic charting system utilized for documentation
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations with diverse telemetry and medical/surgical needs
• Orientation provided with onsite module completion during initial training

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN license or Compact license in hand at time of application
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, cardiac drips, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, central line care, blood product administration, and other advanced medical/surgical skills
• Must complete core onboarding items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
• Geographic restrictions apply; candidates residing in certain local counties are not eligible
