• Shifts Per Week: 3
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Patient Ratio: 1:5-6
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,550 - $1,630

• Orientation: 16 hours

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• At least 1 year of telemetry nursing or acute care nursing experience required; 2 years preferred
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience using Epic electronic health record (EHR) preferred
• Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Comfort working with adult telemetry patients in a fast-paced acute care setting

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to adult telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize changes in patient condition quickly
• Care for patients recovering from cardiac surgery, stent placement, pacemaker implantation, and other cardiac interventions
• Administer medications and manage therapies including IVs, drips, oxygen support, and blood products as needed
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record
• Respond appropriately to changes in patient status and support rapid response efforts when needed
• Provide excellent patient education and support throughout the care process
