Unit: Telemetry
Beds: 24
Patient Ratio: 4:1
Patient Population: Young adults through elderly adults
Focus: General cardiac patients
Trauma Level: N/A
EMR: Cerner
Equipment: LifePak, Zoll, Masimo
Float: May occasionally float to IMCU, NPCU, and/or Surgical
Common Diagnoses / Experience
Chest pain
A-fib
CHF
Pre- and post-cardiac catheterization care
Groin and radial access care
VATS
Requirements
Minimum 2 years RN experience
BLS required
ACLS required
Cerner experience required
Experience with LifePak, Zoll, and Masimo
Associate degree required
Orientation
Travelers must start on one of these orientation dates:
