Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Telemetry RN for a night shift assignment requiring active CA RN license and NIHSS certification.

Details

• Telemetry unit setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00-7:30
• Required to work 4 weekend shifts within a 4-week cycle and at least one holiday, including the holiday weekend
• May be required to float to similar or lower acuity units across the organization's 5 hospitals, excluding the ED

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required, active at time of consideration
• Current AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year total travel experience required, with 6+ months continuous travel experience leading up to consideration
• 1.5 years continuous experience in telemetry specialty required
• EPIC or combined EPIC/Cerner EMR experience within the last 6 months required
• 1 supervisory-level professional reference required
• Copies of required certifications must be current, with no pending or expired certifications accepted

Additional Information

• No first-time travelers considered for this role
• Returning employees and travelers eligible for consideration after 1 year since last assignment
• Maximum 7 days RTO permitted, with no additional requests after consideration
• Local candidates within 100-mile radius not eligible for consideration
• Candidates on assignment in San Diego for 9+ months or longer are considered local and not eligible for consideration
