Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Telemetry position requiring WA or compact RN license and dysrhythmia management skills.

Details

• Work in the Telemetry Unit of a hospital setting
• Cardiac telemetry patient population with strong cardiac and CVA experience preferred
• Patient ratio of 1:4-5
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (18:45-7:15)
• Floating required within the hospital based on patient care needs
• No block schedule requests permitted

Requirements

• Active Washington (WA) or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of specialty experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• EPIC charting experience required
• Skills in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required
• Experience with Rapid Response/Code Teams required
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Travel pairs accepted

Additional Information

• Provide cardiac monitoring and emergency response including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Manage cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration
• Complete required orientation modules averaging 8-12 hours, signed off by facility managers
• Maximum of 5 days RTO permitted per assignment, must be disclosed at time of consideration
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
• Former staff must be separated from the facility/system for at least 1 year before being considered for rehire as a traveler
• First-time travelers are not preferred for this position
