TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Salem, Massachusetts.
*** M/S Tele RN – MUST BE ABLE TO READ TELE STRIPS *** 1. Unit Name: Phippen 6/7. 2. Brief Unit Description: 32 bed Ortho/Neuro med/surg unit. This is a private unit; we admit all other medical overflow. 3. Census: 16 beds in Phippen 6 & 16 beds in Phippen 7. Total of 32 beds. 4. Floating Required: Travelers are required to float to applicable units when needed. 5. Night positions do not rotate. Rotation frequency is usually low. 6. Years of Experience Required: min. 2 years. 7. Skill Sets Required: Med Surg RN with neuro assessment skills and telemetry competency, ability to interpret Tele Strips. 8. Clinician to Patient Ratio: Day and Eve shifts are 1 to 4, may go up to 5. Night shift is 1 to 5 or 6 patients. 9. Patient Population: Scheduled elective Orthopedic and Neuro/Surg patients, Fractures, Neuro patients and all other medical patients overflow. 10. Bed Count: 32 beds. 11. EMR (Charting System): EPIC. 12. Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS not required but welcomed. Tele competency.
