Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit within a 97-bed acute care hospital setting
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data, responding promptly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
• Support night shift medical-surgical staffing needs in a fast-paced acute care environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Virginia or a compact state
• Minimum of 1 year of Telemetry or Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care or telemetry setting
• Familiarity with cardiac monitoring systems and telemetry interpretation
• Experience working in a hospital offering surgical, ICU, or specialty care services
