Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Telemetry – Spokane, WA 99204

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Spokane, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00). Every other weekend required. 48-hour weeks approved. Float between units as needed to meet staffing needs.

Highlights:

• Work in a designated stroke unit with Thrombectomy Capable JCAHO designation and Spine Center of Excellence
• Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with 629 staffed beds
• Heavy neuro unit caring for neurology and neurosurgical patients with telemetry monitoring
• Patient ratio of 1:5 with interdisciplinary support including interpretation services
• Epic charting system in a teaching hospital environment
• NAEC Level 3 Epilepsy Center with comprehensive neuroscience services

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of telemetry experience required
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Willingness to learn and work in a heavy neuro environment (no prior neuro experience required for this position)
• Skills in BiPAP/CPAP management, chest tubes, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, procedural sedation, and telemetry monitoring
• Experience with CVA, craniotomy, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and pre/post neurosurgery patients preferred
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
