• Shift: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:00)
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,960–$2,070
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: May float to meet unit needs
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Charting System: Epic

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of telemetry nursing experience required
• Neuro experience strongly preferred; familiarity with NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) is important
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience caring for neuro, stroke, and telemetry patients
• Comfort managing dysrhythmias and telemetry monitoring
• Epic experience required
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and support unit needs through floating

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to neuroscience and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Perform ongoing assessments and support patients with neurologic and neurosurgical diagnoses
• Utilize the NIH Stroke Scale and other neuro assessment tools as part of routine care
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support treatment plans
• Administer medications and interventions in accordance with established protocols
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic
• Support a culture of teamwork, safety, and high-quality patient care
